Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding is a more economical alternative to sod, and it can be sprayed over areas of any size, on hillsides or sloped areas, and in hard-to-grow areas of your yard. The hydroseed mixture can also be tailored to each customer’s needs, with different types of grass seed mixtures. We can help you choose the right mixture that will give you the best results for a healthy, green, beautiful lawn.

What is Hydroseeding?

Simply, it’s an efficient, high quality, and inexpensive method of seeding a lawn. Technically, it’s the process of combining a mixture called a “slurry” (seed, mulch, fertilizer, soil amendments, and water) in a Hydroseeder tank, and then applying that mixture to the intended surface using high pressure.

Hydroseeding is a cost-effective way to have a beautiful lawn. The cost for residential hydroseeding runs about one quarter to one-third of the cost of traditional sod applications. This can quickly add up to a large savings if you have a large yard.

Fast Results

Hydroseeding allows you to have a new, high-quality lawn, in a short amount of time. With hydroseeding, you will begin to see blades of grass appearing within 10 – 14 days, and substantial results in just a few weeks, which is quicker than you would see with dry seed. This is because the mulch in the hydroseed mixture helps promote faster seed germination.
